How to load *any* molecule for display in augmented reality on moleculARweb

PART OF A SERIES: HERE HOW TO SEE ANY MOLECULE IN AUGMENTED REALITY

Our free moleculARweb site for chemistry and biology education using commodity augmented reality (accessible for free without registration at https://molecularweb.epfl.ch) includes two full tools where you can load any molecule and see it in 3D in augmented reality. On your phone, tablet, or smartphone, without any special hardware or software. And even accounting for basic molecular mechanics (to be presented in a separate story, here only some hints).

In the two web apps I will present here users can pick molecules for visualization from a small list we have pre-selected, or retrieve molecules among millions from a database maintained by the US National Cancer Institutes, or just draw by hand whatever molecule comes to their mind! Plus, the molecules respond to temperature by moving in a realistic fashion and they can even interact with each other (but all this about mechanics will be covered in a separate article).
